SBTM is a publication of the non-profit Small Business Technology Institute.
How often do you publish the magazine?
SBTM is published quarterly, plus a special issue each year. The full version of each issue is available both in print and digital (.pdf) editions.
Who are SBTM’s readers?
The majority of our readers are business and technology leaders who are driving the success of small companies in the U.S. that range from 1 to 300 employees. A smaller proportion of our readers represent the community of service providers that specialize in solutions designed especially for small businesses (i.e. systems integrators, consultants, marketing/PR agencies).

The Small Business Technology Magazine is a non-profit publication comprised of a very small team of professionals that guide the editorial direction and operations of the magazine. We have a handful of in-house writers and editors. We partner with a world-class community of industry experts (i.e. authors, consultants, speakers, industry leaders, small business executives) that share contributed articles offering concrete advice on technology trends and implementation best practices. Submissions are unpaid.
Does SBTM cover breaking news?
While SBTM does not cover breaking product news announcements from vendors, we like to stay informed on emerging technology approaches, implementation success stories and research studies that are of interest to our small business audience. Agency representatives are encouraged to review our editorial calendar and submit relevant article proposals rather than sending press releases about product news.
