General guidelines for submitting proposed contributed articles to Small Business Technology Magazine
All proposals accepted to run in Small Business Technology Magazine must be accompanied by our signed Contributing Writer’s Agreement. The agreement is sent upon acceptance of your proposal. - We consider only unpublished and unique originals. This means the
article has not been posted, syndicated or otherwise submitted to any website, print or email newsletter, blog or print or electronic publication and has not been used in collateral.
- We do not provide monetary compensation for contributions to the magazine.
- Small Business Technology Magazine reserves the right to decline any proposal for any reason. Submitting a proposal in no way guarantees it will be published online or in print.
- Editors reserve the right to make edits to article content to fit space
requirements and editorial direction for each issue and will notify contributors of substantive edits. Editors may replace original headlines and reserve the right to run complementary articles, sidebars, figures, images and callouts from any contributor or source without notifying confirmed contributors, including content sources that may be considered competitive.
- Article placement, length, design and proximity to other articles or
Underwriting Sponsorships in each issue is determined at the discretion of the editorial team.
- Small Business Technology Magazine reserves the right to reschedule or
cancel the articles at it accepts its sole discretion and at any time, and will make reasonable efforts to notify contributors should this occur.
- The submitted article and corresponding images comply with all laws governing copyrighted work.
Authors accept sole responsibility for validating third party sources cited within the article, and obtaining appropriate permission from any sources of information, figures or illustrations referenced within this work prior to publication.
- The author grants the Small Business Technology Magazine the full and
unlimited rights to publish and distribute the content of the article, entirely or in part, in any form and on any communication medium for profit or non-profit purposes. These include custom publishing endeavors and compilations of content on related themes for the purpose of educating small businesses.
