Andrea Peiro of the Small Business Technology Institute (SBTI) says that managing the payroll process is a growing concern for small businesses. He sees a significant opportunity to increase productivity and accuracy in 2007 using online tools to ease the burden of calculating and updating deductions.
This report, based on a December 2006 survey by SBTI of 132 U.S. businesses with less than 100 employees, uncovers the underlying trends.
